The Application Process
Registration for preschool starts as soon as the child is born. Many of our campuses fill up a couple of years before the child’s start date, therefore we always advise prospective parents to book an appointment with the manager of their preferred campus even before the child is born. Whilst some of our campuses accept babies as from 6 months of age, the TOTS foundation class which is for those turning two in that particular year is compulsory at Dukesbridge. Parents are requested to complete the application form and then supply a copy of the parents’ national ID cards, an original of the child’s birth certificate as well as the child’s health card with details of immunisation history. Registration is subject to availability of spaces on campus and the campus manager will advise as and when a seat opens up. Once the registration fees have been paid and the Terms and Conditions signed, a seat is then guaranteed for the child.
Dukesbridge Primary gives priority to students who spend their preschool years at Dukesbridge, however there is no automatic entry into the Primary school. Almost three years prior to a child starting Grade One, Dukesbridge invites parents of our preschoolers to a formal meeting which goes through our Primary school curriculum and answers any questions parents may have. The registration for Primary school is launched shortly after the meeting. Whilst it is critical for parents to attend this meeting, it does not guarantee a seat. In recent history, all the Primary seats were filled within 30 minutes.

After your application form has been reviewed by the team and if you are offered a seat at Dukesbridge, you will receive our Terms & Conditions (T&C) which needs to be read and signed by the responsible parties. Only once the form has been signed and the registration fee has been paid will the seat be secured for your child.
